Eurytides calliste (Bates, 1864)

     Eurytides calliste is very local, known from high elevation cloud forests in SE Mexico to El Salvador (as the nominate subspecies shown above), and a separate population from Costa Rica (olbius). Rather rare in collections and very difficult to capture with a darting flight close to the ground.
