Bhutantis lidderdalii (Atkinson, 1873)

   Widespread in N India, Bhutan, Burma, N Thailand, SW China; in foothills of Himalayas. Not threatened, but protected under appendix II of CITES as of 1988. Three subspecies (above is the nominate one). The Thai population (ocellatus?) is rather restricted and may be in danger due to habitat destruction.
